Conversations that matter.

Established in 1903, the Empire Club of Canada has grown to become a leading speakers’ forum, covering topics in business, politics, education, trade, labour, culture, international issues, and other emerging issues. With a mission centred around the facilitation of meaningful connections and productive dialogue across issues that impact Canadians,

it became necessary for Empire Club to execute a brand refresh and website redesign. In addition to the modernization of Empire Club’s logo, three major project priorities emerged, specifically for the website. These included the need for event listings and a registration option, virtual event broadcasting (live streaming), and ecommerce to support event ticket/table sales and membership registrations.

The Show Must Go On.

In tribute to Empire Club’s roots, the refreshed brand pulls in a regal colour palette and a logo that’s accented by a bold maple leaf and punchy typeface. With the centre of the maple leaf opening like a curtain, this concept represents the welcoming of new ideas and perspectives, while echoing the mantra ‘the show must go on’ in the post-pandemic era.
