Land Acknowledgement
CT’s Ottawa office is located on the traditional, unceded territories of the Algonquin Anishinaabeg people. Our Hamilton (Ancaster) office is located on the traditional, unceded territories of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation peoples.
They, along with all First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people, are the first inhabitants and stewards of the lands and waters that compose Turtle Island (North America). We honour their contributions to this land and to creative industries as a whole. These Peoples have nurtured and continue to nurture these lands from which we benefit, and CT is committed to learning more about their rich histories so that we can better understand our role as caretakers, neighbours, and partners.
