Cinnamon Toast is proud to be working with the City of Temiskaming Shores on the development of a new municipal branding and marketing strategy.
Municipal branding projects are ultimately about helping communities define what brings them together. For Temiskaming Shores, this work offers an opportunity to create a stronger shared identity, one that reflects both the city’s diversity and its collective ambitions for the future.
A Shared Identity to Represent Diverse Audiences
Located along the shores of Lake Temiskaming in Northeastern Ontario, Temiskaming Shores is a vibrant regional hub known for its natural beauty, entrepreneurial spirit, and exceptional quality of life. Formed through the amalgamation of New Liskeard, Dymond, and Haileybury, the city continues to evolve as a connected community while balancing the distinct identities that shape it today.
Like many municipalities, Temiskaming Shores serves a wide range of audiences, from residents and businesses to tourists, investors, and government partners. A thoughtful, community-informed approach will help ensure the new brand reflects the values, personality, and aspirations of the people who call the city home, while also strengthening how the community is understood externally.
Over the coming months, Cinnamon Toast will lead a series of engagement and research activities, including interviews, workshops, and a digital survey. These insights will directly inform the development of the city’s brand framework, visual identity, and marketing strategy.
Supporting Pride, Growth, and Recognition
For Temiskaming Shores, the new brand and marketing strategy will:
- Strengthen a shared sense of identity across the community
- Support tourism, investment, and economic development efforts
- Reflect the city’s natural beauty, culture, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Create a cohesive visual identity and marketing platform
- Provide staff with practical tools to support long-term implementation
The overarching goal of this project is to support Temiskaming Shores in articulating its story with clarity and confidence, creating a foundation for future growth and opportunity. We’re excited to work alongside the City as this next chapter takes shape.
