Reinvigorating pride in Canada’s multicultural background and shared heritage.
Located in Ottawa’s central business district, Aiana is a restaurant collective reinvigorating classic recipes and Indigenous traditions through Canadian products and classical cooking techniques. Whether a memorable dinner; handcrafted cocktail or a glass of carefully curated wine, Aiana delivers distinctly Canadian cuisine and impeccable hospitality – all from the pulse of Ottawa’s bustling downtown.
In an effort to introduce Aiana to Ottawa’s residents and fine-dining savants, as well as to lifestyle bloggers and members of the media, the services of a creative agency was required. From an elegant brand identity to a corresponding suite of assets and website design, much was required to bring this restaurant to life.

Design a distinct brand identity and flexible wordmark for use across materials and channels

Develop a streamlined and flexible WordPress website to house restaurant information, menus, and more
An eternal blossom.
Throughout this project’s discovery phase, themes of elegance, quality, simplicity, and distinction emerged as important aspects to be reflected throughout the restaurant experience. As such, CT’s team of designers crafted a simple and strong wordmark that symbolizes Aiana’s high-end attributes. Its corresponding crest is built upon Aiana’s etymology – an ‘eternal blossom’ – while its modern elements complement the restaurant collective’s interior aesthetic and service approach. Natural colours have been introduced as a celebration of contemporary, farm-to-table cuisine, while pops of metallic accurately reflect the restaurant collective’s inherent elegance.

To complement Aiana’s brand, CT created an aesthetically pleasing and functional website, and delivered a series of social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and reservations.
