Workforce Attraction Campaign
Nestled in the heart of Northeastern Ontario, Lanark County is a scenic, close-knit community surrounded by natural beauty. Facing labour shortages, the Lanark County Economic Development (LCED) Team sought to attract skilled professionals in healthcare and the trades.
To achieve this, Lanark County partnered with CT to develop and execute a strategic Summer 2024 campaign showcasing the County’s employment opportunities and exceptional lifestyle. Targeting healthcare professionals and skilled tradespeople, the campaign emphasized work-life balance, highlighting career opportunities alongside a variety of leisure amenities.
Goals:
Assess Lanark County’s competitive position through audits
Produce a compelling video series highlighting Lanark’s lifestyle and work opportunities
Implement a targeted digital advertising strategy to engage key labour sectors
Bringing Lanark County to Life Through Storytelling
CT conducted an in-depth audit and identified the need for dynamic video content to differentiate Lanark County. A nine-video campaign was produced, featuring local residents and business owners in casual, interview-style segments. Over two days, in collaboration with Mindscape Studios, CT captured the essence of living and working in the County by showcasing stories from various community members.

Digital ads were strategically placed across key platforms, complemented by an OMNI Channel partnership to engage newcomer audiences. The campaign successfully positioned Lanark County as a desirable destination for relocation and career growth.
