Transforming the online experience.

Oxford Properties is a Canadian multinational corporation investing in, developing, and managing transformative places around the world – including retail facilities. Recognizing the continuous evolution of the retail industry and a

trend towards responsive, mobile-first user experiences, the design and development of 14 mall property websites, each with a unique URL, within one global content management system (CMS) was required.

Goals:

Develop a suite of user stories to inform the architecture and functionality of each mall property’s website

Improve AODA compliance and ease-of-use for back-end administrators

Create a consolidated online shopping experience for all stores within each mall

Shop ‘Till You Drop

To support online shoppers who want the benefit of making purchases from several stores via one consolidated experience, a platform was created to pull products from the entire mall’s store inventory. Using custom filters, users can sort through items for purchase, add them to a basket, and easily check out with their preferred method of payment.

Websites reimagined.

Designed and developed on WordPress, each of Oxford Properties’ mall websites were created to be both accessible and responsive across devices and browsers. Each mall website features a series of unique APIs – such as those used to support Live Chat, parking and mall capacity information,

and business directories. Complemented by contact info, event listings, blogs with integrated products, e-newsletter sign-ups, and much more, each Oxford Properties site has been created to provide an engaging and informative browsing experience for users of all ages.
